Overview:

All matters pertaining to the recruitment, development and management of referees is administered by the Alberta Lacrosse Referee Association (ALRA).  The Referee In Chief for Calgary for 2009 will be Darryl Ducharme ().

General Information on Referee Clinics / New Referees:

Referees must re-certify each year.  Most referees, especially new referees, will register for the Level 1-2 course.  In order to take the certification for Level 3, you must first be a level 2 and be at least 18 years of age.  To take the Level 4 certification, you must have your level 3 and be at least 21 years of age. 

All registrations are processed at the door.

Fee:  $60
Equipment:
 - referee jersey - approx. $30
 - you will need to purchase a new Fox 40 whistle if you don't have one -  $15
 - you will need to purchase a new rule book - $15
