Okotoks Mustangs supports Girls Lacrosse at all age levels.  Mini-Tyke, Tyke, and Novice girls play on co-ed teams to introduce and develop the basic individual and team skills required. The Female Program is open to all PeeWee, Bantam, and Midget age girls. The Girls division consists of  teams within Calgary and the surrounding area. All practices are held in Okotoks with games being held in Okotoks, Calgary, and surrounding areas.  
This year we hope to have girls teams at PeeWee,Bantam and Midget. Due to many bizarre circumstances and the great success of our Peewee girls team we were forced to step back, and this year we will come out better and stronger for it. 
We encourage all girls that play hockey,soccer,and baseball as well as many other sports to consider Lacrosse next season as there are endless scholarship opportunities in top colleges across the country. Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S for these reasons. Some Okotoks girls are currently in the U.S on scholarships, another testiment to the Mustangs program. 

This year there will be a Bantam Girls National team with tryouts being on the 5th,6th, and 7th of June, practices in July and the Nationals in Whitby Ontario in early August. All Bantam girls that play on our PeeWee and Midget teams are eligible to try out for this team.
