Stay tuned in and tell your friends cause it is going to be another great season of lacrosse!!!

We are still looking for some great people to join our board and help grow the sport of lacrosse in Okotoks. We still need a Tyke and Girls Director, someone to help organize our Spring Classic tournament, as well as other key positions. Come on and get in on one of the best, fastest growing sports in Alberta!

Great job Team Alberta Boys! The Peewee and Bantam teams both won Bronze at the 2009 Nationals that were held in Whitby Ontario. It was a first for multiple medals, as well as a first medal in the Bantam division. The Peewee's won an overtime thriller against Team Iroquois 7-6 and the Bantams played a great game and beat the Iroquois 5-3. The Midgets just finished up in Brampton losing a real battle against B.C in the Bronze medal game 7-6 in double overtime. The National experience is unbelievable and the Ontario media does a fantastic job supporting its lacrosse programs, with Rogers televising all the medal games, and it is amazing to wake up on Sunday morning and see the Peewee Champions on the front page of the Toronto paper!!!!

Congratulations to the Mustangs Novice B1 Team for winning the gold medal and the CDLA Novice B City Championship. Nice Job!

Congratulations to the Peewee A Mustangs for winning the Bronze medal at the 2009 Canada Day tournament!

The Okotoks Icemen capped off another great season by winning gold in the RMLL Junior Tier III Championship. Way to go boys!

The Junior A Raiders great season came to an end after they lost a hard fought series in game seven of the playoffs to the Edmonton Eclipse.

The Senior Raiders finished up in Ontario playing in the Presidents Cup coming out with a very respectable finish with 4 wins and1 loss but were just out of getting in the playoffs with a lower goals for ratio.

                                                                             Community and Team Events

A very special thank you to all the local business's that sponsored the Mustang teams and organization. We encourage everyone to support these local business's as they found the kindness and generosity in their hearts to support our club. Through their generous donations we were able to purchase new equipment to keep our kids safe and keep our registration fee's at a reasonable level so all kids can play this great sport.
Again Thanks!

A special thanks to all of our volunteers for without you we would not be able to offer this great sport to our children. As with any volunteer run organization, we have our fair share of bumps and bruises but we will continue to build on our strengths and come back this season bigger and stronger, and continue to offer one of the best lacrosse programs in the area.
